Running 330kms in South Africa
Sean Budden
My Story
I will be taking on my toughest ultra-marathon yet, in support of South Central Ambulance Service. One of many British ambulance services who make adventure possible.
Throughout my life I have tested my limits through travel and adventure. I have taken on expeditions in remote corners of the world, trained with Shaolin Monks and competed in ultramarathons across some of the most inhospitable environments the world has to offer. All this came to life because of my training and development in the British mountains and at events made possible by the protection of our ambulance services.
With this latest challenge I am hoping to give back to the heroic people who keep us safe and raise awareness of their work which often goes unnoticed. There are countless races, events and adventure activities that could not safely function without our ambulance services; they truly make adventure possible.
As a health coach and personal trainer, I hope you will find real value following my journey in 2026. Please let me know if you draw some inspiration or healthy lifestyle change from this, it will help keep me motivated!
