We are a volunteer-run BASICS (British Association for Immediate Care) scheme in Hampshire, made up of experienced Paramedics and Doctors providing enhanced pre-hospital emergency care alongside the South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SCAS).

💚Our responders deliver advanced interventions including major trauma care, advanced resuscitation, sedation, pain relief, respiratory support, and specialist cardiac procedures — all funded entirely through charitable donations.

💚Due to the way we seamlessly integrate into the statutory Ambulance service our patients and their relatives are usually unaware that assistance in their care was provided by a SCAS BASICS volunteer Responder.

💚With our dedicated emergency response vehicles, ER101 and ER102, alongside approved blue-light responder vehicles, we are able to respond rapidly across Hampshire’s urban and rural communities.
